GreensGroomer

Even though people may use the GreensGroomer for Natural Turf in topdressing work, some may not know how terrific the GreensGroomer is to use on greens — especially as a part of your mowing routine.

When including the GreensGroomer in your mowing schedule, you’ll reach a better mow quality, more consistent surface, and faster green speeds. We’ve proven this using a simple measure - cuttings. Using the same mow height, you’re able to raise the grain prior to a second and third cut, resulting in a tighter, healthier mow. No longer do you have to drop your mow height to reach faster greens speeds.

Grooming will remove much of the grain, producing a much truer and smoother putt. Because a superior cut is achieved, the height of cut can also be raised and still maintain the desired green speed with less stress to the plant. Older leaves are raised up by brushing and are cut off. This opens up room for newer, more disease tolerant, younger plants to emerge.

Can be used ALL YEAR ROUND

Unit can be used as a pre-cut brush. You can drag the brush accross the green to stand the leaf blade up prior to mowing, giving you a cleaner quality cut on the leaf, helping with surface quality and ball roll.

Brushes Sand into Cores

Compared to other units on the market the GreensGroomer actually maximises the distribution of the sand evenly and into the core holes. This is because of the unique brush design of the GreensGroomer which distributes the sand in four directions for every four feet of movement.

Simple and Efficient

Low mechanical complexity with high reliability. Zero down time means your unit will perform day in and day out without the need for mechanical repair.

Won’t Damage Turf

The GreensGroomer has been tested against all other solutions and overwhelmingly found that the greensgroomer doesn’t damage or bruise turf, even in the most extreme conditions

Larger Footprint/Improved Brush design

The hallmark of this brush design are the precise brush dimensions and angles that move sand in four directions for every four feet of forward movement. This allows for true one pass performance, reducing turf stress while also breaking down aeration cores, filling holes and controlling the grain.

No Hopping, Scuffing or Bruising

Nothing has been overlooked with the GreensGroomer – Perfectly balanced side to side and front to back. This allows for smooth brushing with NO HOPPING. The electric actuator provides almost infinite adjustment control, from wheels down transport to wheels up brushing.

Low Maintenance

Due to it’s low mechanical complexity the GreensGroomer requires a virtual zero investment to keep in top operational condition.

Lake Karrinyup, WA

We have two greens groomers at Lake Karrinyup. Over the years we have tried many different brushes and also attempted to make something similar ourselves, but nothing has compared or even come close to this unit. We use them for major renovations as well as any regular top dressing. Our mechanic loves it as he hasn’t had a single issue or repair.

"We have had the GreensGroomer since 2013. We use it on our greens for renovations to move approximately 80-90 tonne of sand into the cores which are 6-7 inches deep. The GreensGroomer allows us to move more sand a lot quicker and with less impact on our greens. Without it we would have to do a lot more hand work and have to use mats which bruise the greens. The brooms are the best part of the GreensGroomer. Unlike other products on the market the brooms are designed to push sand in many different directions, which actually gets the sand in the cores. We have not had to replace these brooms since first purchasing the GreenGroomer, as you can spin them around which keeps the longevity of the broom. I think it’s the best greens brush going around and don’t know what we would do without it"

I’ve been Superintendent at The Western Australian Golf Club for the past 18 years and I have been using the GreensGroomer for the past 5 years. In my time as the Superintendent I have tried several different types of topdressing brushes. I believe that the GreensGroomer is one of the best pieces of equipment for not only incorporating topdressing but the ability to brush greens. I have the ability to control the down force on my greens. It’s very simple in its design with very few moving parts and can be towed by a number of course vehicles. It gives me the ability to control how aggressive I wish to be. I have no hesitation in saying I rely on the GreensGroomer as part of my regular green maintenance program.

“ I originally bought the GreensGroomer to brush in topdressing faster. Now, I’ve incorporated the GreensGroomer into our maintenance routine by sending it out every Monday in front of our greens mowers. The electric lift allows us to stay ahead of the play and never slows down the mowers. This has helped reduce the amount of grains in our 35-year-old greens”

“The GreensGroomer is easy to use and puts down topdressings with the fewest passes of a brush I’ve ever used”
